Word From the Executive Director

Building the vision for Fahari Academy Charter School with seven young professionals, who comprise our founding team, has been an honor and a dream. The founding team inspires the vision because they are the vision. Together, we have harnessed the cultural diversity of Flatbush, connected Brooklyn’s community-based organizations, local youth-serving non-for-profits, dynamic individuals and employed our collective expertise and insights to create a college preparatory public school option.


We still need YOU. Fahari Academy expects participation from everyone in the community. We hear every voice, honor every thought and value every person. Therefore we have created opportunities for all community members to continually invest in our most precious asset - the access to a free, appropriate and excellent public education.
